• Description: The Jurkat cell line was established from the peripheral blood of a 14 year old boy by Schneider et al., and was originally designated JM. The line was cloned from cells obtained from Dr. Kendall Smith and are mycoplasma free. This is a clone of the Jurkat-FHCRC cell line, a derivative of the Jurkat cell line.
• Applications: IP, WB
• Stability: The lysate is stable for at least one year from date of shipping when stored at -80 centigrade. After incubation with SDS-PAGE sample buffer, SDS-PAGE samples need to be stored in -20 centigrade for long term storage.
• Storage: Store the lysate at -80 centigrade and avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
• Concentration: 1 vial of 100 μg whole cell lysate in RIPA buffer.
