| Product Overview : | Under alkaline conditions, the peptide bond in the protein binds to copper to form a complex, and the phosphomolybdate-phosphotungstate in the Folin-phenol reagent is reduced by the tyrosine and phenylalanine residues in the complex protein, producing a deep blue color. Under certain conditions, the depth of the blue color is proportional to the amount of protein, and the amount of protein can be calculated according to the size of the light absorption value at 750 nm. |
