Description : | Affinity-purified Amaranthus caudatus (ACL/ACA) is a dimer glycoprotein made up of two subunits. It does not have specificity for blood groups but does have a higher affinity for type O erythrocytes over B and A. Amaranthus caudatus Lectin (ACL/ACA) is labeled with tetramethylrhodamine isothiocyanate (TRITC) and has an appropriate number of fluorochromes bound to provide the optimum staining characteristics for this lectin. TRITC is a bright orange or red-fluorescent dye with excitation ideally suited to the 532-nm laser line. TRITC labeled ACL/ACA can be used for cellular imaging applications. |
