Description : |
Complement factor H-related protein 2 is a secreted protein that belongs to the complement factor H protein family. Members of the H-related protein family are exclusively composed of individually folded protein domains, termed short consensus repeats (SCRs) or complement control modules. CFHR2 is synthesized as a 270 aa precursor that contains an 18 aa signal peptide and a 252 aa mature chain with 4 Sushi (CCP/SCR) domains. CFHR2 is synthesized in the liver and secreted into plasma. It may be involved in complement regulation. CFHR2 can also be associated with lipoproteins and may play a role in lipid metabolism. |
Formulation : |
Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of 20mM PB,150mM NaCl,pH7.2. |
Purity : |
Greater than 95% as determined by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE. |
Endotoxin : |
Less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg) |
Reconstitution : |
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Recombinant Human CFHR2 in PBS not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solution. |
Storage : |
Lyophilized should be stored at less than -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at less than -20°C for 3 months. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles. |
