• Description: Hydroxyacid oxidase 1 (HAO-1), a member of the FMN-dependent alpha-hydroxy acid dehydrogenase family, is also known as glycolate oxidase (GOX), which contains 1 FMN hydroxy acid dehydrogenase domain. HAO-1 Has 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity. Most active on the 2-carbon substrate glycolate, but is also active on 2-hydroxy fatty acids, with high activity towards 2-hydroxy palmitate and 2-hydroxy octanoate.
• Form: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in 50 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH7.5, 10% trehalose.
• Molecular Mass: The protein has a calculated MW of 41.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 41.7 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
• Endotoxin: Less than 1.0 EU per ug by the LAL method.
• Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
