Description : Hydrolyzes 2-acetyl monoalkylglycerol ether, the penultimate precursor of the pathway for de novo synthesis of platelet-activating factor. May be responsible for cholesterol ester hydrolysis in macrophages. Also involved in organ detoxification by hydrolyzing exogenous organophosphorus compounds.
