Overview
IL-31 is a cytokine with a four-helix bundle structure, which is preferentially produced by type 2 helper T cells (Th2). The structure of IL-31 places it in the IL-6 family of cytokines. IL-31 signals via a receptor complex that is composed of IL-31 receptor A (IL31RA) and oncostatin M receptor subunits. These receptor subunits are expressed in activated monocytes and in unstimulated epithelial cells. -

Q&As (6)
Ask a questionThe IL31 may have specificity for specific diseases, with relatively few side effects being a big advantage.
IL31 activates downstream signaling pathways by binding to receptors and participates in inflammatory response and immune regulation.
It has a wide range of applications in immune inflammation, dermatology and other research fields.
Clinical studies of IL31 are ongoing, but there is no clear therapeutic effect and effectiveness assessment at this time.
IL31 research still faces many challenges, including side effect evaluation, efficacy verification and other issues, and further efforts are needed.
Optimal dose may be related to individual differences, disease type and other factors, and the appropriate dose should be determined under the guidance of a doctor when using IL31.
