Subunit CD8 alpha is fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and subunit CD8 beta contains no tag. As a result of glycosylation, the heterodimer protein migrates as 30-32 kDa and 32-34 kDa under reducing (R) condition, and 30-33 kDa and 60-65 kDa under non-reducing (NR) condition (SDS-PAGE). |
