IL10R belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. IL10Rα is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein containing extracellular, transmembrane and intracellular domains. The extracellular domain has two immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) C2-type domains. IL-10 cytokine dimer interacts with two IL10Rα molecules to activate the cascade signaling pathway.
