• Bio-activity: 1. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 1.5-6 ng/mL. 2. Recombinant Human TPO(50 ng/mL), IL-3(15 ng/mL), IL-6(15 ng/mL) and IL-11(15 ng/mL) induce hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells to differentiate into megakaryocytes. After 6 days, the induction of CD41/42+ megakaryocytes was successful.

For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.
