Cat. No. : | Il5ra-5663M |
Description : | Il5ra isa 60 kDa hematopoietin receptor that plays a dominant role in eosinophilbiology. Mature mouse Il5ra consists of a 322 amino acid (aa) extracellular domain(ECD) with a WSxWS motif and a four cysteine motif, a 22 aa transmembrane segment, and a 54 aa cytoplasmic domain. Within the ECD, mouse Il5ra shares 71% and 86%aa sequence identity with human and rat Il5ra, respectively. Alternatesplicing of mouse Il5ra generates soluble secreted forms which function asIL-5 antagonists. |
Source : | Mammalian cells |
Form : | Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS. |
N-terminalSequence : | Asp18 |
MolecularWeight : | 63.2 kDa (monomer) |
Activity : | Measuredby its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When 0.5 μg/mL of RecombinantMouse Il5ra/CD125 FcChimera is immobilized onto a goat anti-human IgG Fc antibody coated plate, the concentration of biotinylated recombinant mouse IL-5 that produces 50% ofthe optimal binding response is found to be approximately 4-16 ng/mL. |
Endotoxin Level : | <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
SDS-PAGE : | 75-85kDa, reducing conditions. |
Purity : | >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain. |
Reconstitution : | 100 μg/mLin sterile PBS |
Storage : | Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to-70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. |
