• Description: dcTRAIL-R2 is a decoy receptor for the cytotoxic ligand mouse TRAIL. dcTRAIL-R2 binds to mouse and human TRAIL, but is unable of transmitting a signal.The extracellular domains of dcTRAIL-R2 compete with those of death receptor 5 (DR5) for ligand binding and act as decoys that prevent TRAIL from inducing apoptosis through DR5.
