Cat. No. : |
SCAND1-2848H |
Product Overview : |
Recombinant human SCAND1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. MW = 21.2 kDa (199aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF (molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). |
Description : |
SCAN domain-containing protein 1, also known SCAND1, belongs to a family of genes that encode an isolated SCAN domain. SCAND1 contains one SCAN box domain and, unlike the majority of other SCAN domain containing proteins, it does not contain a zinc finger motif. SCAND1 is a nuclear protein that may play a role in the mechanism of transcription regulation. It is widely expressed with highest levels of expression found in kidney, thyroid, liver, prostate and testis. |
