Recombinant Human cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase Inhibitor Beta, His-tagged

Cat. No.: PKIB-972H
Product Overview: Recombinant human PKIB protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography(1-78 aa).
Description: PKIB, also known as cAMP-dependent protein kinase inhibitor beta, is a member of the cAMP-dependent protein kinase inhibitor family. This protein may interact with the catalytic subunit of cAMP-dependent protein kinase and act as a competitive inhibitor. At least three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
Form: Liquid. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) containing 20% glycerol, 0.1M NaCl,1mM DTT
Molecular Weight: 10.6 kDa (98aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF(Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher)
Purity: > 95% by SDS - PAGE
Concentration: 1.0 mg/ml (determined by BCA assay)
Storage: Can be stored at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -70°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
