Recombinant Human Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 5, Telencephalin, Fc-tagged

Cat. No.: ICAM5-5642H
Product Overview: RecombinantHuman ICAM5 protein was expressed in Murine myeloma cell line with the Fcpart of Human IgG1 Pro100-Lys330 (C-terminus) and Human ICAM5 Ala28-Glu570(N-terminus).
Description: ICAM5 isa cell surface glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily.Human ICAM5 consists of an 832 amino acid (aa) extracellular domaincontaining 9 immunoglobulin (Ig) domains and 15 N-glycosylation sites, a 28aa transmembrane domain, and a 64 aa cytoplasmic domain. ICAM5 shares 38-55%aa identity with other ICAMs, being most closely related to ICAM-1 (50% identity)and ICAM-3 (55% identity). Human and mouse ICAM5 share 85% aa identity.
Source: Murine myeloma cellline, NS0-derived.
Form: Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS.
N-terminalSequence: Ala28
MolecularWeight: 85.1 kDa (monomer)
Activity: Measuredby the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion ofPMA-stimulated HSB2 human peripheral blood acute lymphoblastic leukemiacells. When 5x104 cells/well are added to rhICAM5/Fc Chimeracoated plates (25 μg/mL, 100 μL/well), approximately 25-40% will adhere after1 hour incubation at 37°C.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE: 125-130kDa, reducing conditions.
Purity: >90%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: 400 μg/mLin sterile PBS
Storage: Use a manualdefrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
