Cat. No. : | Il3ra-5661M |
Description : | Il3ra isa pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by activated T cells or mast cells.Il3ra stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of hemopoietic cellsincluding the pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells as well as various lineage-committedcells. The biological effects of Il3ra on the various cell types are mediatedby the binding of Il3ra to specific cell surface receptor complexes. Thefunctional high-affinity IL-3 receptor is a heterodimer consisting of aligand binding α subunit and the β subunit. The α subunit alone binds Il3rawith low affinity. |
Source : | Spodopterafrugiperda, Sf 21 (baculovirus)-derived. |
Form : | Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS. |
N-terminalSequence : | Ser17 |
MolecularWeight : | 61.0 kDa (monomer) |
Activity : | Measuredby its ability to inhibit the IL-3-induced proliferation of NFS-60 mouse myeloidcells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.03-0.15 μg/mL in the presenceof 2.5 μg/mL Recombinant Mouse IL-3 Rβ Fc Chimera and 2 ng/mL of RecombinantMouse Il3ra. |
Endotoxin Level : | <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
SDS-PAGE : | 70-80kDa, reducing conditions. |
Purity : | >90%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain. |
Reconstitution : | 100 μg/mLin sterile PBS |
Storage : | Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to-70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. |
