Recombinant Mouse Neuroblastoma, Suppression Of Tumorigenicity 1, His-tagged

Cat. No.: Nbl1-5690M
Product Overview: Recombinant Mouse Nbl1protein was expressed in Murine myeloma cell line with a C-terminal Ile and10-His tag. Ala17-Asp178.
Description: Nbl1 was initiallyidentified as a gene whose expression is downregulated in srctransformed ratfibroblasts. Nbl1 has now been shown to be a prototypical member of the Nbl1family of secreted glycoproteins that are putative BMP antagonists. Nbl1family members share a cysteine-rich domain that is structurally related tothe cysteine knot motif found in TGFβ superfamily ligands. There are at leastfive mouse Nbl1 family members, including Nbl1, Gremlin/DRM, Cer1, Dante andPRDC. Additional Nbl1 family members include Xenopus Cerberus, chick Caronte, and C. elegans CeCan 1.
Source: Murine myeloma cellline, NS0-derived.
Form: Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminalSequence: Ala17
Molecular Weight: 18.9 kDa
Activity: Measuredby its ability to bind rhBMP4 in a functional ELISA. Immobilized rmNbl1 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind rhBMP4 with a linearrange of 0.1-10 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EUper 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE: 27-30kDa, reducing conditions.
Purity: >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: 10 μg/mLin sterile PBS that containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
Storage: Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months fromdate of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterileconditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterileconditions after reconstitution.
