Recombinant Mouse Hepatocyte Growth Factor

Cat. No.: Hgf-734M
Product Overview: Recombinant Mouse Hgfprotein was expressed in Murine myeloma cell line. Gln33-Arg495 (alpha) &Val496-Leu728 (beta).
Description: Hgf, also known asScatter Factor and Hepatopoietin A, is a pleiotropic protein in thePlasminogen subfamily of S1 peptidases. It is a multidomain molecule thatincludes an N-terminal PAN/APPLE-like domain, four Kringle domains, and aserine proteinase-like domain that has no detectable protease activity. MouseHgf is secreted as an inactive 728 amino acid (aa) single chain propeptide.
Source: Murine myeloma cellline, NS0-derived.
Form: Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminalSequence: Gln33 predicted(alpha) & Val496 (beta)
Molecular Weight: 53.4 kDa (α-chain),26 kDa (β-chain)
Activity: Measuredin a cell proliferation assay using IMCD3 mouse epithelial cells. The ED50for this effect is typically 10-30 ng/mL. Measured by its ability to bindRecombinant Mouse Met Fc Chimera in a functional ELISA with an estimated KD< 0.2 nM.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EUper 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE: 60 kDaand 33 kDa, reducing conditions.
Purity: >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: 10 μg/mLin sterile PBS that containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
Storage: Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months fromdate of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterileconditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterileconditions after reconstitution.
