Cat. No. : |
GPR114-5630H |
Description : |
GPR114 isa member of the LN-TM7 family of adhesion-type 7-transmembrane (TM) G-proteincoupled receptors (GPCR) that exhibit long extracellular N-termini. The 528amino acid (aa) human GPR114 sequence predicts a 21 aa signal sequence, a 229aa N-terminal extracellular domain (ECD) and seven TM regions separated by shortintracellular and extracellular regions. Like other LN-TM7 members, the ECDcontains a highly glycosylated mucin-like stalk that is predicted to functionin adhesion, followed by a GPCR proteolytic cleavage site (GPS) it does not containany other easily recognizable domains. |
Source : |
Chinese HamsterOvary cell line, CHO-derived. |
Form : |
Lyophilized from a0.2 um filtered solution in PBS. |
N-terminalSequence : |
Glu22 |
MolecularWeight : |
19.4 kDa |
Activity : |
Measuredby the ability of the immobilized protein to enhance the adhesion of thehuman T98G glioblastoma cells (ATCC: CRL-1690) to human Fibronectin. When 4x104cells/well are added to plates coated with human Fibronectin (0.1 μg/mL) andrhGPR114 (10 μg/well, 100 μL/well) for 60 minutes at 37°C, there is a 2-4fold increase in adhesion to human fibronectin induced by the presence ofrhGPR114. |
Endotoxin Level : |
<1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
SDS-PAGE : |
40-55kDa, reducing conditions. |
