Cat. No. : Cx3cl1-379M
Description : Cx3cl1 is a largecytokine protein of 373 amino acids; it contains multiple domains and is theonly known member of the CX3C chemokine family. It is alsocommonly known under the names fractalkine (in humans) and neurotactin (inmice). The polypeptide structure of Cx3cl1 differs from thetypical structure of other chemokines.
Source : E. coli
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA with BSA as a carrierprotein.
N-terminal Sequence : Leu22
Molecular Weight : 9.5 kDa
Activity : Measured by itsability to chemoattract mouse CX3CR1 transfected BaF3 mouse pro-B cells. TheED50 for this effect is typically 10-50 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100μg/mL in sterile PBS that containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serumalbumin.
Storage : Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
