Cat. No. : SPON1-408H
Description : Human SPON1 issynthesized as an 807 amino acid (aa) precursor that contains a 28 aa signal sequenceand a 779 aa mature region. The mature region includes an N-terminal reelinlike domain (aa 1-200), a centrally placed SPON1 type segment (aa 201-440), andsix C-terminal class 2 thrombospondin type I repeats.
Source : Mammalian cells
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminal Sequence : Phe29
Molecular Weight : 88.9 kDa
Activity : Measured by itsability to enhance neurite outgrowth of dissociated E13 chick embryonicdorsal root ganglia (DRG) neurons. Able to significantly enhance neuriteoutgrowth when immobilized as a 3 μL droplet containing 100 ng on a nitrocellulosecoatedmicroplate.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : >90%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100μg/mL in sterile PBS.
Storage : Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month,2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions afterreconstitution.
