Cat. No. : |
Cntn6-462M |
Description : |
Cntn6, also known asNB3, is a 130 kDa member of the TAG/F3 subgroup of Contactin GPIlinked neuronaladhesion proteins. Mature mouse Cntn6 consists of six immunoglobulinlike domains,a flexible linker region, four fibronectin type III domains, and a GPI anchor.Mouse Cntn6 shares 90% and 96% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with human andrat Cntn6, respectively. Alternate splicing generates an isoform with a 17 aadeletion in the first Iglike domain. |

Measuredby the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of Neuro2a mouseneuroblastoma cells (ATCC: CCL131). When 5 x 104 cells/well are addedto rmCntn6 coated plates (10 μg/mL, 100 μL/well), approximately 40-60% will adhereafter 30 minutes at 37 °C. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratoryfor each application. |
