Recombinant Human Prostaglandin Reductase 1, His-tagged

Cat.No.: PTGR1-2520H
Product Overview: Recombinant human PTGR1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Description: PTGR1 belongs to the NADP-dependent oxidoreductase L4BD family. This enzyme catalyzes the conversion of leukotriene B4 into its biologically less active metabolite, 12-oxo-leukotriene B4. This is an initial and key step of metabolic inactivation of leukotriene B4. It is highly expressed in the kidney, liver, and intestine but not in leukocytes.
