Recombinant Human Polymerase (RNA) II (DNA Directed) Polypeptide J, 13.3kDa, His-tagged

Cat.No.: POLR2J-7206H
Product Overview: Recombinant human POLR2J protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. MW: 15.7 kDa.
Description: POLR2J is a subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes. This protein exists as a heterodimer with another polymerase subunit; together they form a core subassembly unit of the polymerase. Two similar genes are located nearby on chromosome 7q22.1 and a pseudogene is found on chromosome 7p13.
