Source : HEK293
Species : Mouse
Tag : hFc
Form : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4Please contact us for any concerns or special requirements. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Molecular Mass : The recombinant mouse Art4 /Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 481 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 53.7 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 70 Kda in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
Protein Length : Met1-Lys263
Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Purity : > 91 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Storage : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C
Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.

Ask a question
Does ART4 have any non-enzymatic functions or interactions with other proteins? 01/13/2023

Beyond its enzymatic role in ADP-ribosylation, ART4 does not have well-characterized non-enzymatic functions or specific protein interactions.

How does ART4 catalyze ADP-ribosylation? 05/18/2021

ART4 transfers ADP-ribose from NAD+ to specific target proteins, modifying their structure and function.

Are there any known diseases or disorders associated with mutations in the ART4 gene? 12/19/2019

Mutations in the ART4 gene are not commonly associated with diseases or disorders in humans.

Are there any therapeutic applications targeting ART4? 06/21/2019

ART4 itself is not targeted therapeutically. However, understanding its role in blood group antigen regulation may have implications in blood transfusion medicine and compatibility testing.

What are some known substrates of ART4? 11/26/2018

ART4 ADP-ribosylates specific glycoproteins on the surface of red blood cells, such as the P1 and P2 antigens.

Is the activity of ART4 influenced by any cofactors or regulators? 05/27/2017

ART4 activity depends on the availability of NAD+ as a substrate, and it may also be regulated by cellular signaling pathways related to red blood cell function.
