||Keratin 19, also known as KRT19, is a human gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins.

When disposing of this reagent through lead or copper plumbing, flush with copious volumes of water to prevent azide build-up in drains.
