Recombinant Human HSD17B6, GST-tagged

Cat.No.: HSD17B6-13961H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human HSD17B6 protein, fused to GST-tag, was expressed in E.coli and purified by GSH-sepharose.
Description: The protein encoded by this gene has both oxidoreductase and epimerase activities and is involved in androgen catabolism. The oxidoreductase activity can convert 3 alpha-adiol to dihydrotestosterone, while the epimerase activity can convert androsterone to epi-androsterone. Both reactions use NAD+ as the preferred cofactor. This gene is a member of the retinol dehydrogenase family. Transcript variants utilizing alternative polyadenylation signals exist.
Source: E.coli
Species: Human
Tag: GST
Protein length: 1-317a.a.
Storage: The protein is stored in PBS buffer at -20℃. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Storage Buffer: 1M PBS (58mM Na2HPO4,17mM NaH2PO4, 68mM NaCl, pH8. ) added with 100mM GSH and 1% Triton X-100,15%glycerol.
