Description : PF4V1 belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family. It is a inhibitor of angiogenesis and inhibitor of endothelial cell chemotaxis(in vitro). Binding to heparin is much weaker than in the close homolog PF4/CXCL4. Recombinant human PF4V1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
