Description : The protein encoded by this gene aids in the proteolytic degradation of crosslinked fibrin by breaking down isodipeptide L-gamma-glutamyl-L-epsilon-lysine, a byproduct of fibrin degradation. The reaction catalyzed by the encoded gamma-glutamylaminecyclotransferase produces 5-oxo-L-proline and a free alkylamine. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]
Source : E. Coli
Species : HUMAN
Form : The A2LD1 solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Molecular Mass : 17,329 Da
Protein length : 153
Purity : Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Notes : Small volumes of A2LD1 recombinant protein may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice.
Storage : ACTG-1 although stable at 4 degree C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18 degree C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Warning : This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
