Tresyl methacrylic resin

Cat.no: Tresyl-001M
Product Overview: Tresyl activated resin is an activated support resin for affinity chromatography. The product is prepared by introducing tresyl groups onto a methacrylic polymer incorporating high mechanical and chemical stability. Tresyl activated material is used to immobilize ligands with free amino or thiol groups, quickly and with high efficiency.
Characteristics: Tresyl activated resin is highly reactive toward amine and thiol groups. It is provided in dry form, ready for reaction in buffered solutions containing protein or other ligand. Coupling is accomplished in neutral to slightly alkaline (pH 7 - 8) solution.
