Description : Antigen standard for SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 4 (SOX4) is a lysate prepared from HEK293T cells transiently transfected with a TrueORF gene-carrying pCMV plasmid and then lysed in RIPA Buffer. Protein concentration was determined using a colorimetric assay. The antigen control carries a C-terminal Myc/DDK tag for detection.
Source : HEK 293 cells
Species : Human
Components : This product includes 3 vials: 1 vial of gene-specific cell lysate, 1 vial of control vector cell lysate, and 1 vial of loading buffer. Each lysate vial contains 0.1 mg lysate in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of RIPA Buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH7.5, 250 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA, 50 mM NaF, 1% NP40). The loading buffer vial contains 0.5 ml 2X SDS Loading Buffer (125 mM Tris-Cl, pH6.8, 10% glycerol, 4% SDS, 0.002% Bromophenol blue, 5% beta-mercaptoethanol).
Size : 0.1 mg
Storage Instruction : Store at -80°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. After addition of 2X SDS Loading Buffer, the lysates can be stored at -20°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.
Applications : ELISA, WB, IP. WB: Mix equal volume of lysates with 2X SDS Loading Buffer. Boil the mixture for 10 min before loading (for membrane protein lysates, incubate the mixture at room temperature for 30 min). Load 5 ug lysate per lane.

How does SOX4 protein interact with other proteins? 06/24/2022

SOX4 proteins may interact with other proteins to fulfill their functions. These interactions can involve various types of protein-protein interactions like electrostatic interactions, hydrogen bonding, etc. Understanding these interactions can help unravel the mechanism of action of SOX4 proteins in cells.

What are the effects of mutations or modifications in the SOX4 protein on organisms? 06/16/2022

Mutations or modifications of the SOX4 protein may affect its function and thus affect the organism. The specific effects may vary depending on the type and location of the mutation or modification and may involve various biological processes, such as growth and development, immune response, etc.

What is the expression pattern of SOX4 protein? 07/01/2021

This protein may be highly expressed in specific tissues and cells and low in other tissues and cells. Its expression pattern may be affected by a variety of factors, including gene regulation, transcription factors, etc.

In which biological processes does SOX4 protein function? 10/27/2020

SOX4 protein may be involved in a variety of biological processes, including sex determination, gonadal development, nervous system development, etc. These processes require the regulatory action of the SOX4 protein for normal development and function.

How to design experiments to study the structure and function of SOX4 protein? 04/15/2020

Studying the structure and function of SOX4 protein may require the design of a series of experiments, including biochemical and cell biology experiments. For example, X-ray crystal diffraction can be used to study its structure, and its function can be studied by gene knockout or knockdown techniques.

How to evaluate the potential of SOX4 protein as a drug target? 04/12/2020

Evaluating the potential of SOX4 protein as a drug target can involve several aspects, including its expression level in organisms, its role in biological processes, and its changes in disease. In addition, factors such as ease of drug development for this protein and potential drug side effects need to be considered. At the same time, in vitro and in vivo experiments can be performed with known SOX4 inhibitors or agonists to verify their efficacy and safety.
