Description : Antigen standard for acid phosphatase 6, lysophosphatidic (ACP6) is a lysate prepared from HEK293T cells transiently transfected with a TrueORF gene-carrying pCMV plasmid and then lysed in RIPA Buffer. Protein concentration was determined using a colorimetric assay. The antigen control carries a C-terminal Myc/DDK tag for detection.
Source : HEK 293 cells
Species : Human
Components : This product includes 3 vials: 1 vial of gene-specific cell lysate, 1 vial of control vector cell lysate, and 1 vial of loading buffer. Each lysate vial contains 0.1 mg lysate in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of RIPA Buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH7.5, 250 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA, 50 mM NaF, 1% NP40). The loading buffer vial contains 0.5 ml 2X SDS Loading Buffer (125 mM Tris-Cl, pH6.8, 10% glycerol, 4% SDS, 0.002% Bromophenol blue, 5% beta-mercaptoethanol).
Size : 0.1 mg
Storage Instruction : Store at -80°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. After addition of 2X SDS Loading Buffer, the lysates can be stored at -20°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.
Applications : ELISA, WB, IP. WB: Mix equal volume of lysates with 2X SDS Loading Buffer. Boil the mixture for 10 min before loading (for membrane protein lysates, incubate the mixture at room temperature for 30 min). Load 5 ug lysate per lane.

Ask a question
What disease associated with the ACP6? 07/30/2021

Chromosome 1q21.1 Deletion Syndrome, Duodenal Atresi, and Chromosome 1p36 Deletion Syndrome.

How about the tissue specificity of the ACP6? 07/23/2021

Highly expressed in kidney, heart, small intestine, muscle, liver, prostate, testis, ovary and weakly expressed in thymus and colon.

What is protein differential expression in normal tissues for ACP6 gene? 07/12/2020

This gene is overexpressed in Salivary gland, oral epithelium, and gallbladder.

List three cellular components of ACP6 gene ontology? 05/03/2020

Cytoplasm, Mitochondrion, and Mitochondrial matrix

What are ACP6 gene related biological pathways? 12/21/2019

Among its related pathways are Glycerophospholipid biosynthesis and Metabolism.

What about the genomeRNAi human phenotypes for ACP6? 12/09/2019

Increased caccinia virus infection.

What is the molecular function of the ACP6 gene? 12/03/2019

Has highest activity with lysophosphatidic acid containing myristate (C14:0), monounsaturated oleate (C18:1) or palmitate (C16:0), and lower activity with C18:0 and C6:0 lysophosphatidic acid.

Why ACP6 could be used as a indicator of ovarian cancer? 10/10/2018

Lysophosphatidic acid phosphatase activity is used to detect and to quantify irregular levels of LPAs on a cell's surface.[12] LPAs are receptor-active mediators that promote cell motility, cell growth and cell survival. There is clear evidence that cancerous ovarian cells have an increased level of LPA concentrations on their cell surfaces.

What mathmatical method could be used to explore the association between ACP6 expression and a disease when ACP6 act as a biomarker? 04/26/2018

We can apply violin plots and receiver’s operating characteristics (ROC) curves.

What does mean by ACP6 expression was obviously higher in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) than in non-cancer liver specimen in most RNA-seq dataset and microarrays? 03/10/2018

It is suggested that ACP6 gene overexpressed in HCC, which present that ACP6 gene could be a clinico-pathological indicator of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
