Recombinant Human Heat Shock Factor Binding Protein 1

Cat. No.: HSBP1-311H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human HSBP1 protein was overexpressed in E.coli and purified to apparent homogeneity by using conventional column chromatography techniques (76 aa, 8.5 kDa).
Description: Heat shock factor binding protein 1 (HSBP1) is a 76 amino acid protein that binds to heat shock factor 1(HSF1), which is a transcription factor involved in the HS response. HSBP1 is nuclear-localized and interacts with the active trimeric state of HSF1 to negatively regulated HSF1 DNA-binding activity.
Source: E.coli.
Formulation: Liquid. In 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.5) containing 1 mM DTT, 50 mM NaCl, 20% glycerol.
Molecular Weight: 8.5 kDa (76aa).
Purity: > 95% by SDS – PAGE.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay).
Sequence: MAETDPKTVQ DLTSVVQTLL QQMQDKFQTM SDQIIGRIDD MSSRIDDLEK NIADLMTQAG VEELESENKI PATQKS
