Cat.No. : | CA14-262H Optional Service: Optional requirements on this protein |
Product Overview : | Recombinant Human CA14 (Ala16-Met290) protein was fused to His-tag at C-terminus and expressed in human 293 cells (HEK293). |
Description : | Carbonic anhydrase XIV (CA14),a member of the alpha-carbonic anhydrase family, is also known as carbonate dehydratase XIV, which is a single-pass type I membrane protein. Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. CA14 shares highest sequence similarity with the other transmembrane CA isoform, CA XII; however, they have different patterns of tissue-specific expression and thus may play different physiologic roles. As for tissue specificity,CA14 is high expressed in all parts of the central nervous system and lower expressed in adult liver, heart, small intestine, colon, kidney, urinary bladder and skeletal muscle. |
Source : | HEK293 |

Purity : | >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Storage : | For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20 centigrade or lower. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This product is stable after storage at: -20 to -70 centigrade for 12 months in lyophilized state; -70 centigrade for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution. |
Reconstitution : | It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents. |
