||Recombinant full length Human C5R1 with N terminal FLAG tag and C terminal His tag co-expressed with inhibitory G-protein Gia1b1g2, prepared from Sf9 insect cells triple-infected with C5R1, Gia1 and Gb1g2 encoding baculoviruses.
||C5R1 belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and is a receptor for the chemotactic and inflammatory peptide anaphylatoxin C5a. It stimulates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release and superoxide anion production.Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems. G proteins are composed of 3 units; alpha, beta and gamma. The alpha chain contains the guanine nucleotide binding site. The beta and gamma chains are required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for G protein-effector interaction.
