Cat. No. : Madcam1-1767M
Description : Mucosal vascular addressin cell adhesion molecule 1 (MAdCAM-1) is a multifunctional type l transmembrane adhesion molecule that is expressed selectively at venular sites of lymphocyte extravasation into mucosal lymphoid tissues and lamina propria, where it directs local lymphocyte trafficking. MAdCAM-1 is involved in the normal recirculation of lymphocytes between the blood and the gastrointestinal tract. MAdCAM-1 may be a relevant tissue-specific therapeutic target for the modulation of inflammatory bowel disease activity.
Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Mouse MAdCAM-1 is Mr 63 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 85-95 kDa.
Source : Mammalian cells
State Of Matter : Lyophilized.
Purity : >95% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin : <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
Storage And Stability : This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°Cto -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°Cto 8°Cfor one month or at -20°Cto -70°Cin a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. See Product Insert for exact lot specific storage instructions.
