The specific activity of Bas was determined using pNPP. Enzyme reaction condition: 50 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 2 mM EDTA, 3mMDTT, 100 mM NaCl, 20 mM pNPP, and 20 ng/µl enzyme, for 5 min at 30°C.
Application: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, regulation, to dephosphorylate target substrates and for screening inhibitors.
