||Recombinant HumanSRSF1 is expressed inE.Coliwith a His tag at N-terminus.Molecular Weight: 29kDa.
||This gene encodes a member of the arginine/serine-rich splicing factor protein family, and functions in both constitutive and alternative pre-mRNA splicing. The protein binds to pre-mRNA transcripts and components of the spliceosome, and can either activate or repress splicing depending on the location of the pre-mRNA binding site.
||1x dilution buffer A: 20 mM Tris-Cl (pH 8.0), 20% Glycerol, 100 mM KCl, 0.2 mM EDTA and 1mM DTT.
||The purified protein is greater than 95% homogeneous based on SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
||1 unit equals 1 nanogram of purified protein. 1-5 units are sufficient for a gel mobility shift assay in a 20 µl reaction, 100 units are sufficient for a protein-protein interaction assay and 100-500 units are required for a splicing assay in a 20 μl reaction.
||Recombinant ASF/SF2 protein can be used for: 1) in vitro function studies including pre-mRNA splicing, cross linking and other RNA binding assays; 2) protein-protein interaction assay; and 3) cell growth and proliferation assays.
||Store at -80oC.
