||Recombinant humanGLIPR2 protein (1-154 aa), fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
||GLIPR2 is closely related to plant pathogenesis-related (PR-1) proteins, which are upregulated in response to pathogen attack. This protein is found within lipid-enriched microdomains on the cytosolic side of the endomembrane system. GLIPR2 is tightly anchored to membranes and absent from the cytosol, although it does not possess a membrane-spanning domain.
