Description : This gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that belongs to the oxoglutarate receptor family within the GPCR superfamily. The encoded protein is activated by the citric acid intermediate, oxoglutarate, as well as several cysteinyl leukotrienes, including leukotrienes E4, C4 and D4, which are implicated in many inflammatory disorders. In mice, a knock-out of this gene leads to middle ear inflammation, changes in the mucosal epithelium, and an increase in fluid behind the eardrum, and is associated with hearing loss. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Form : Cell-Tissue Lysis buffer
Molecular Mass : 38 kDa
Notes : Instruction of use: This knockdown cell lysate should be paired with wild-type HeLa cell lysate for use. For Western blotting, we recommend running wild-type and knockdown lysates on the same gel, and loading each well with equal volume and equal amount of total proteins.
Storage : Store at -20 centigrade for two years.
Concentration : Lot-specific
Shipping : Blue Ice
Components : 1 vial of 100 μg WT HeLa cell lysate 1 vial of 100 μg OXGR1 KD HeLa cell lysate
Protein Families : Druggable Genome, GPCR, Transmembrane
Lysate QC : RT-qPCR; Western Blotting (WB)
