Tag : Non
Description : This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the syntaxin or t-SNARE (target-SNAP receptor) family. These proteins are found on cell membranes and serve as the targets for V-SNARES (vesicle-SNAP receptors) permitting specific synaptic vesicle docking and fusion. A microdeletion in the region of chromosome 20 where this gene is located has been associated with pseudohypoparathyroidism type Ib. Multiple transcript variants have been found for this gene. Read-through transcription also exists between this gene and the neighboring downstream aminopeptidase-like 1 (NPEPL1) gene.
Form : Cell-Tissue Lysis buffer
Molecular Mass : 37 kDa
Notes : Instruction of use: This knockdown cell lysate should be paired with wild-type HeLa cell lysate for use. For Western blotting, we recommend running wild-type and knockdown lysates on the same gel, and loading each well with equal volume and equal amount of total proteins.
Storage : Store at -20 centigrade for two years.
Concentration : Lot-specific
Shipping : Blue Ice
Components : 1 vial of 100 μg WT HeLa cell lysate 1 vial of 100 μg STX16 KD HeLa cell lysate
Protein Families : Druggable Genome, Transmembrane
Protein Pathways : SNARE interactions in vesicular transport
