| Description : | Brucella abortus is a rod-shaped, non-motile, catalase-positive and oxidase-positive organism. The optimum growth pH varies from 6.6 to 7.4. The optimum growth temperature is 36–38 centigrade, but this species can grow between 20 centigrade and 40 centigrade. |
