Antigen Description : | Mouse SLAM family member 7, also known as CRACC, SLAMF7, CD319, CD2-like receptor-activating cytotoxic cells, and CS1, is a single-pass type I membrane protein and a member of the CD2 family of cell surface receptors. SLAMF7 is expressed in NK cells, activated B-cells, NK-cell line but not in promyelocytic, B- cell lines, or T-cell lines. The cytoplasmic domain of SLAMF7 contains immunoreceptor tyrosine-based switch motifs (ITSM), which enables to recruite signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM)-associated protein (SAP/ SH2D1A). SLAMF7 may play a role in the regulation of B lymphocyte proliferation during immune responses. SLAMF7 is implicated in the activation of NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. SLAMF7 positively regulated natural killer cell functions by a mechanism dependent on the adaptor EAT-2 but not the related adaptor SAP. In the absence of EAT-2, SLAMF7 potently inhibited natural killer cell function. SLAMF7 was also inhibitory in T cells, which are typically devoid of EAT-2. Thus, SLAMF7 can exert activating or inhibitory influences on cells of the immune system depending on cellular context and the availability of effector proteins. |
Specificity : | Mouse SLAMF7 / CRACC. Has cross-reactivity in ELISA with human SLAMF7 / CRACCM; No cross-reactivity in ELISA with human cell lysate (293 cell line) |
Immunogen : | Recombinant mouse SLAMF7 protein |
Host : | Rabbit |
Isotype : | Rabbit IgG |
Species : | Mouse |
Clone : | A004 |
Applications : | Western blot; ELISA |
Dilution : | Western blot: This antibody can be used at 1 - 2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse SLAMF7 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for mouse SLAMF7 is approximately 0.25 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. Use of this antibody under reducing conditions is not recommendedDirect ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse SLAMF7. The detection limit for mouse SLAMF7 is approximately 0.00245 ng/well |
Preparation : | This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, human cell-derived, recombinant mouse SLAMF7 extracellular domain |
Format : | 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with 5% trehalose |
Storage : | This antibody can be stored at 2-8°C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 to -70 °C. Preservative-Free.Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

Customer Reviews (3)
Write a reviewIt has a high solubility and can be easily prepared at the desired concentration.
It was found to be well active and could effectively perform the required biological activity experiments.
It was observed that SLAMF7 had good crystallinity, which was conducive to crystallography research.
Q&As (6)
Ask a questionSLAMF7 protein is involved in regulating immune cell activation, proliferation, and transmission of background signals by binding to activating ligands, such as CD319, thereby influencing the immune response.
By combining with immunotherapy, such as anti-PD-1 antibodies, the immune response can be further enhanced and the anti-tumor effect can be improved. The study of SLAMF7 protein provides a new direction for the development of combinatorial therapeutic strategies.
This protein is mainly expressed in the immune system, including immune cells such as plasma cells, NK cells, and activated T cells.
The role of SLAMF7 protein in other types of cancer is unclear, and further research is needed to determine its potential role in other cancers.
Yes, the SLAMF7 protein has been shown to be a potential therapeutic target. A monoclonal antibody drug targeting SLAMF7 protein (Elotuzumab) has been developed for the treatment of multiple myeloma.
SLAMF7 protein interacts with NK cells in multiple myeloma and plays a role in inhibiting and controlling tumor growth by activating the anti-tumor activity of NK cells.
