Source : HEK293
Species : Cynomolgus/Rhesus
Tag : Fc
Form : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4Please contact us for any concerns or special requirements. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization. Please refer to the specific buffer information in the hard copy of CoA.
Molecular Mass : The recombinant cynomolgus / rhesus CD83 is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 365 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 41 KDa.The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 45-55 and 34 KDa respectively in SDS-PAGE.
Protein length : Met1-Ala143
Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Purity : > 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Storage : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C
Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.

03/16/2021

The experimental conditions are wide, and the experimental results are accurate and reproducible.

    08/24/2020

The resulting strips are clear and bright, which greatly exceeds the expected results.

      06/10/2020

CD83 activity is maintained for a very long time and can be maintained for a long time, which is very stable and reliable.

        Q&As (6)

        Ask a question
Could CD83 be a target for immunotherapy? 12/19/2021

Yes, CD83 can be targeted as immunotherapy. Immunotherapy for CD83 has been explored in several clinical trials with some efficacy.

Are there population differences in CD83 treatment? 10/27/2021

It is unclear whether there is a population difference in CD83 treatment. However, due to factors such as individual differences and genetic polymorphisms, different populations may respond differently to treatment. Therefore, population-specific treatment strategies may need to be individually adapted and optimized.

What are possible aspects of future research on CD83? 09/02/2021

Future research on CD83 may involve more in-depth molecular mechanism studies, optimization and improvement of CD83-based immunotherapy strategies, and research on combination with other immunotherapies or drugs.

Is there a relationship between CD83 and other immune checkpoint molecules? 03/01/2021

CD83 interacts and regulates with other immune checkpoint molecules. Together, they are involved in the regulation of the immune response.

Is CD83 expression regulated by other molecules? 12/20/2020

Yes, CD83 expression is regulated by a variety of molecules, including cytokines, transcription factors, and epigenetic modifications.

What is the therapeutic approach for CD83? 08/05/2020

Current treatments for CD83 mainly include immunotherapy and gene therapy. Immunotherapy against CD83 works primarily by modulating the function of dendritic cells and T cells.
