Recombinant Discosoma sp OFP Protein, His-tagged

Cat.No.: OFP-1032D
Product Overview: OFP is a red (orange) fluorescent protein derived from DsRed(similarity is 83%). OFP was expressed with a polyhistide tag at the C-terminus.
Source: E. coli
Species: Discosoma sp
Tag: His
Predicted N Terminal: Met
Form: Lyophilized from sterile Tris, pH 8.01, 5%~8% trehalose and mannitol.
Bio-activity: OFPSparkTM expression vector transfected 293 H cells transiently. After 48 h, the strong orange fluorescent signals can be detected under the excitation channel of 503.5~547.5 nm, and the strong red fluorescent signals can be detected under the excitation
Molecular Mass: The recombinant Discosoma sp. OFPSparkTM consisting of 231 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 26.4 kDa.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity: >99 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Storage: Store it under sterile conditions at -20ºC~-70ºC. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
