• Product Overview: DNase I (Deoxyribonuclease I, deoxyribonuclease I) is a deoxyribonuclease endonuclease that can randomly decompose single-stranded or double-stranded DNA to the same extent to generate oligonucleotides with 5'-P ends. DNase I hydrolyzes single-stranded or double-stranded DNA. Its activity is highly dependent on the Ca2+ level and can be activated by Mg2+ or Mn2+. Under the condition of Mg2+ presence, DNase I can randomly cleave any site of double-stranded DNA. Under the condition of the presence of Mn2+, DNase I can cleave the two strands of DNA at approximately the same sites, thereby obtaining sticky ends with flat ends or 1-2 nucleotide protrusions.
