Description : |
ClpP can simultaneously bind ClpX and ClpA to form a heteromeric complex. ClpP is a serine protease with a chymotrypsin-like activity that is a part of the ClpAP, ClpAPX and ClpXP protease complexes. Cleaves peptides in various proteins in a process that requires ATP hydrolysis. The protein has a chymotrypsin-like activity and plays a major role in the degradation of misfolded proteins. |

Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Storage : |
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20/-80 centigrade. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20/-80 centigrade. Store working aliquots at 4 centigrade for up to one week. |
Reconstitution : |
It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25 mg/ml. Centrifuge the vial at 4 centigrade before opening to recover the entire contents. |
Warning : |
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. |
