| Description : |
ABCB7 (ATP Binding Cassette Subfamily B Member 7) is a mitochondrial half-transporter involved in the transport of heme and iron-sulfur cluster precursors from the mitochondria to the cytosol. Mutations in ABCB7 cause X-linked sideroblastic anemia with ataxia (XLSA/A). Recombinant Full Length Human ABCB7 Protein is produced in HEK293 cells with N-terminal His tag and C-terminal Flag tag. The protein functions in mitochondrial iron metabolism and plays a critical role in erythroid maturation and heme biosynthesis. |
