Cat.No. : | HCVNS3-141H |
Description : | Hepatitis C recombinant NS3 protein (22kDa, aa 1450-aa1643) Beta galactosidase fusion produced in the E.coli expression system. NS3 protein Molecular Weight: approx.22kDa. This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies and shows strong reactivity with HCV converted human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western ELISA. |
Source : | E.coli |
Species : | HCV |
Molecular Mass : | 22 kDa |
Protein length : | aa 1450-aa 1643 |
Purity : | > 90 % by SDS-PAGE |
Applications : | In-Vitro HCV Diagnostics; Western Elisa. |
Notes : | Recommended concentrations for use are approximate values. Dilute the antigen preparation at least 10 to 20-fold in appropriate buffers for solid phase antigen-antibody titration assays. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. HCV NS3 protein shows relatively strong binding specificity for HCV-specific human antibodies. ELISA and Western ELISA require protein in 10ng range depending on the nature and affinity of the secondary detection reagent. HCV converted human serum polyclonal antibodies yield titers of 1:10, 000 or greater at 100ng of immobilized protein under standard ELISA conditions. |
Stability : | At least 12 months at -75 centigrade. |
Storage : | Store at -75 centigrade. |
Dilutions : | 20mM Tris, pH8.0, 10mM Beta ME, 4M Urea |
