Description : Annexin VII is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins. Annexin VII has molecular weight of approximately 51 kDa with a unique, highly hydrophobic N-terminal domain of 167 amino acids and a conserved C-terminal region of 299 amino acids. The latter domain is composed of alternating hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments. Structural analysis of the protein suggests that Annexin VII is a membrane binding protein with diverse properties including voltage-sensitive calcium channel activity, ion selectivity and membrane fusion.
Source : Escherichia coli.
Physical Appearance : Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Purity : Greater than 90.0% as determined by the analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE coomassie blue staining.
Formulation : Recombinant Human Annexin-VII at a concentration of 0.1mg containing 10 mM Tris, pH 8.0, 0.1% Triton X-100, 0.002% NaN3 and 10mM DTT.
Applications : • ELISA • MS• Western Blotting.
Storage : RhAnnexin-7 although stable at 14°Cfor 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
